Flower Bed and Plant Count Planner

Enter bed size, plant type and spacing to see how many plants, how much mulch and how much water to plan for.

These tools give planning-level estimates from typical values and the details you enter. They are not quotes, designs or engineering, and results depend on your actual yard, soil, sun, drainage, existing plants, weather and local rules. Only a yard visit can confirm what a project needs, and we give you a written scope and price before any work begins.

How it works

Plant count, mulch and watering for the first season.

Tips

  • Plant for the size a plant will reach, not the size of the pot.
  • Odd numbers of the same plant look natural in a bed.
  • Water new plants deeply and often for the first season, then less as roots grow.
