Soil samples tested for pH and nutrients, then corrected with lime, compost and the right fertilizer for healthier lawns and beds.
Healthy plants start with healthy soil, and the only way to know what your soil needs is to test it. Many Middle Tennessee yards have acidic clay with low organic matter, and applying fertilizer without testing is like taking medicine without a diagnosis. A soil test reveals the pH and the levels of key nutrients, so you spend money only on what the lawn or garden truly needs.
We collect samples from different areas of your yard and send them for analysis. When results come back, we explain them in plain language and write a plan. That may include lime to raise pH, sulfur to lower it, compost to improve structure and fertilizer blends matched to your grass or plants. We can apply the amendments, work them into beds and recommend a retest schedule. Fixing soil often does more for a yard than any single product. We label each sample by location, so a front lawn, a shaded back yard and a vegetable bed can each get their own recommendation. Many yards have very different soil in different corners, and testing separately avoids treating everything the same way. We also note drainage and compaction while we are on site.
Samples from several areas show how soil changes across the property.
We translate pH and nutrient numbers into clear recommendations.
Lime, compost or fertilizer is applied to fix the actual issues.
A follow-up test shows how the soil has responded.
